I forget how good it is to read the Amnesty site, we all need reminding about what’s really going on while we’re out shopping for shoes and CD’s.

The latest front page features womens rights and violence against women. It’s mind boggling really. How stupid, worthless and paranoid can men be? It’s also equally mind boggling that nothing more is done about domestic violence against women.

For goodness sake it’s 2006 and we still have 10’s of millions of women treated like slaves and second class citizens in much of the world. What is wrong with men?

Even if you can only spare a couple of minutes you can join the campaign and spread the word. It’s not much to ask.

Unless your some kind of loser wife beater rapist I can’t see why you wouldn’t want to help, can you? Of course you might just be too busy down the pub with the lads telling sexist jokes. After all, it’s only a bit of fun.
