I know, I know, it’s only beta this still made me laugh – a lot.

Update: Ho hum, they removed the picture, you’ll just have to use your imagination as to what could be so funny about Windows Vista. Post your imaginative thoughts below! I’m waiting…

Update 2: I have it, finally! Nothing but the finest quality journalism here, I await my call from The Guardian!

That green arrow has to be a link to apple.com surely?

Vista!

Hat tip to Gizmodo and Macrumors, always the last to know eh!

Actually it was a new ‘feature’ of Vista that determines any applications that are slowing down your computer and hogging memory etc. You get a nice Vista glass style popup window saying something like…

Windows has determined the following aplications are affecting the performance of your PC etc…

The amusing thing was the applications listed were Windows components eg Explorer, svc host etc.

The message was preceeded by a green arrow with the line ‘click here to find out how to aviod this’ .

I mean what was it going to do? Unistall Explorer, take you to the Apple website? The mind boggles!
