Vancouver, art, housing and change
If you’ve ever spent more than 10 minutes with me I have more than likely bored with my enthusings about Vancouver. For those whom I haven’t bored yet, it’s very simple. I went to Vancouver on holiday as a teenager, back in ‘86, and just had the best time ever. So good in fact, that I have vowed to live there, even if only for a year. There, that wasn’t too painful was it? So, on the basis of this, I was a little miffed to find out that I’d missed the Massive Change Exhibition. I will refrain from duplicating the blurb here suffice to say it was a 3 month exhibition exploring contemporary design and the effect it has on our lives. < href="http://www.vanartgallery.bc.ca/exhibitions_massive.cfm">Read more…
However, all is not lost. The Zero Yen House sounds excellent and I have a few months to get my worthless butt out there. Now, all I have to do is pursuade The Wife! Kyohei Sakaguchi, Zero Yen House, September 23 2006 to January 1 2007. Note: Massive Change image blatently nicked from matt’s flickr – thanks matt. Comments... |
